A woman in Changamwe Mombasa has been charged in a Mombasa court for sharing pornographic photos of her own child online.
The particulars being that on diverse dates between July 2023 and October 15, 2023, Faith Ashikoye Johnson alias Lucky Nduts alias FaithJohn alias Mama Tatiana through her social media network site, Meet Me, under the username Lucky Nduts, subjected her 10-year-old minor to online abuse by sharing the minor’s nude photos to Zohair Al Mukaram indicating that Mukaram would have carnal knowledge with her and the minor.
Ashikoye is also facing a second count of child pornography contrary to section 24 (1) of the computer misuse and cybercrime Act. after she was allegedly found in possession of obscene images depicting the image of the minor in her mobile phone.
While appearing before Mombasa Chief Magistrate, Hon.Martha Mutuku the suspect pleaded not guilty to all charges.
She was released on a kshs.200,000 bond with one surety and kshs.100,000 cash bail after her defense lawyer, Chris Egesa, prayed that she be granted a reasonable bond term.
