Detectives in Mombasa have arrested several drug traffickers in areas of Bamburi .
Among the suspects nabbed during the raid is Collins Omondi an Economics and statics graduate at the university of Nairobi.
He was arrested with 15 kilograms of skanks concealed in a suck of Oranges in his car transporting it from Zimbabwe through Tanzania into the country.
A further search conducted by the detectives in the suspect’s house located in Bamburi’s fisheries estate saw a recovery of 15 more kilograms of the same substance.
According to the detectives part of the consignment was set to be ferried to the Nairobi market.
A motor vehicle registration number KDE 948E that is suspected to have been used to ferry the drugs was also impounded.
Collins is believed to be on the police radar as one of the main suppliers of drugs with cost region,areas of Nairobi , Tanzania and South Africa
This arrest came comes barely a few weeks following the arrest of several other drug traffickers in the intensified war against drug trafficking in the coast region.
